My 3yo left the park today crying, with her head down, because nobody will play with her

WARNING: This is just a rant, and maybe a cry for some emotional support. Nothing more..My 3yr old kid is the friendliest kid. She's evolved beyond just taking your kids hand, and trying to be friends that way. Now, she asks, "I'm a little girl, like you! Do you want to be friends?"I'm biased, but it's the cutest flippin' thing ever. But today, at a park full of kids, she walked away dejected. Not only would none of the kids play with her, they played games around her, as she tried to simply involve herself. It gives me a chance to teach my daughter to be strong, and to make sure she includes everybody... but it sucked a lot. I tried not to let her see how much it was affecting me, but it broke me a little. This is the most I think I've cried in years... I don't know if I'll ever be emotionally ready for this. How the heck am I supposed to get her through the teenage years?(There is a bit of a culture split where I live, and she was the only kid there of our nationality... but let's say that race isn't a contributing factor) via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2znxgtm
