So my son eats like a freaking horse. When I say horse, I say he eats more than a full grown 6’0 man. I have never had to deal with him being a picky eater. He loves everything except peas (we all hate them too). He’ll be 8 years old in a few weeks, about 45 inches tall, and 60lbs. He’s very active. We go to the park and on walks a few times a week. He loves to run and wants to do track when he gets in middle school/high school. He’s also in mixed martial art classes. I’ll catch him “working out to get strong” in the backyard sometimes, doing push-ups, planks, and leg raises, lol.So this morning he has 6 eggs, YES 6 eggs, 4 pieces of toast, hashbrowns, two portions of fruit and 5 sausage links. He was the one to finish off majority of the food leftover. He asked if there was more of anything else I tell him that he ate the rest, so we’re all done then proceeds to ask me for a bowl of cereal because he’s still hungry. WHAT. So I tell him “How about we wait till lunch.” He gave me sad puppy dog eyes and excuses himself, but got dang that was already a ton of food.I felt bad afterwards and just let him have a small bowl, and told him that was it until lunch. My toddler on the other hand I feel like I have to force him to eat. When you do limit your kids? Do you think he’s eating too much? I have never been concerned about his weight except when he was a baby and nearly 30lbs at a year old. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2XvMOK1
