Thanks everyone for all your advice, yesterday. The girl that hurt my daughter was absent today and I am assuming she is suspended. I spoke to my daughter's teacher and she said that the girl is apparently remorseful for what she did - I doubt that very much! She also talked about the girl writing my daughter an apology letter. I pretty much told the teacher and the principal not to even bother getting her to write one. I get that they are trying to make the girl be responsible for what she is done and to teach her to own her shit, but I just feel that unless she is genuinely sorry, it is pointless. If she is truly sorry, she can come and apologise to my daughter, personally.My daughter had a good day and is feeling much better despite what happened and the nice little bruise now on her arm as a reminder! 😞Thanks again everyone for you kind words and advice. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/32P6EyB
