Uber is now on my shit list

This morning I called an Uber to get my 4-year-old and 1 year old over to their daycare and grandma's house, respectively. The ride was supposed to be roughly $9 which was good considering it was about to rain and I had to forgo walking or train (I live in NYC). At the end of my workday I get a notice from Uber for a $20 fee, not knowing what it is (because why would they tell you pertinent info like that in the email) I reach out to their support. They say that my 4-year-old caused a mess in his seat. He is short and his legs press up on the driver's seat so sometimes it leaves a little dust mark. I then get these images from Uber:https://ift.tt/2L9hI4j think he may have made one print but the rest I don't know. In any case, how is this a fee-able offense, I mean what he needed to clean his whole car for this? I pushed back on them and waiting to hear. I know Uber drivers have it hard and the work doesn't pay much but seriously this feels like the driver is shaking me down. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2S1LOY3
