So obviously the boyfriend is not speaking to her. At my request. I told him to take a few days to think without allowing her to influence him. But I thought I had taught her better than to cheat. Granted, we aren’t talking about sexual relationships here. But to teens a kiss is just as bad. I’m torn between letting the experience create enough of its own punishment or intervening to make sure the lesson is learned. Her boyfriend is a sweet kid from a rough family background (I’m not joking, I feel like I have parented him more than his own parents have) so I have a feeling that in a few days he will be missing her and want to talk to her again, but he expected her to be loyal to him and she wasn’t. Can I just rewind time and put her back in diapers? I’d potty train fifty kids to not be dealing with this right now. 😩 via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2JnnHiw
