As the title states, my son starts kindergarten this fall and I'm really nervous. This is my husband and I's first kid and I want to make sure that he has all the tools he needs. My son really hasn't been in a structured environment as grandma has been watching him over the summer and before that my husband worked nights and I worked days so that someone was always home with him. I have lots of questions like, I know most parents get their kid new clothes before school starts, but what do ya'll buy and how much? Also school supplies, when do I find out what I need to buy him. I know we register him on the 25th so do they supply us with a list or something? Also I can't get him to eat breakfast at all. But he is normally hungry by 10:30, do they still get snacks in K-5? How can I get him to start eating breakfast to prepare him?
