Parents are the problem

You want to know why the forgotten generation is incapable of “being on their own”, it’s because of my generation not allowing them to do a damn thing. Time and time again I hear “my parents won’t let me” by 18 year olds that want to drive 20 min into town or to a nearby city for a concert. For goodness sake. Let these kids learn to live on their own unless you want them in your basement. They need freedom. They NEED to make mistakes.
