I just had a guest (I work at a hotel) make a super hurtful comment. She's been here for a few weeks, so she is used to seeing me around, as I work 40 hours. I had worked 4 days in a row and was meant to have Friday and Sunday off. I was also scheduled to work Saturday, but I asked a coworker to cover because I needed a break.When I came in this morning, she made a comment about how she hadn't seen me in a while. I said that I took Saturday off and got to go to the Saturday market with my daughter (11 months). She said, "Wow, your daughter must have been very surprised that you were actually home. I'm sure she loved it since she never gets to see you"I specifically go to work in the mornings and my husband at night so that one of us is always home with the baby.
