I am a single mom to almost 2 year old triplets. They go to an in-home daycare a few days a week while I work, up until now I’ve had no complaints at all. Daycare provider, let’s call her Kate, is fantastic and never complains about my girls who are definitely a handful. She’s taken care of them since they were 12 months, although to start with it would just be a few hours a week.Anyway, a few weeks ago one of my daughters came home from daycare with what looked like a pinch mark on her cheek. It looked really obvious and sore so I mentioned it to Kate who said one of my other daughters had done it to her. For the next few weeks up until now each of my daughters has come home with a few bite marks (kid-sized) and pinch marks. Kate insists that my girls are fighting with each other and hurting each other. Now, they’re almost 2 and I know toddlers can be vicious but they aren’t physical at all. They hit each other sometimes if they’re arguing over a toy or something but never enough to leave a mark. Why on earth would they act so differently at daycare?? So I’m thinking either Kate’s lying, maybe another kid is hurting them and she’s not noticed or is protecting them, or they actually ARE hurting each other which concerns me because they don’t do that at home at all. So what’s making them do it there?WWYD? Her flippant reaction to the very visible marks on my children is concerning to me. She always seems to brush it off. I don’t want to have to move daycare as she’s the cheapest I’ve found locally and it’s still a little too expensive, but it’s looking like I might have to. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/30mlA5d
