Hi everyone,I am a parent to a 15 year old daughter. I work as a General Manager of a restaurant and my husband is an Investor. To make a long story short, both my husband and I are out of the house long hours, and my daughter is often left by herself (which she loves, of course.).Our neighbor, a 30 something woman (guessing her age) is a very sweet lady who lives by herself. For the past few weeks, I have come home from work to find her and my daughter on our doorstep talking. About what, I don't know. But in addition to this, here's what's happened within the past month or so:1) Daughter wants to go the mall with friends; We are not home. Neighbor is outside and volunteers to drive and take them shopping.2) Neighbor offers to cook us dinner and have it ready for when we get home.3) When we attend my daughter's sports games, our neighbor will randomly show up.4) I have come home to find my neighbor helping my daughter with her homework.5) My neighbor will put random plants in our garden.6) Neighbor has offered to buy my daughter a new smart phone once it becomes available on the market.Now, I spoke with my husband about this and believe he thinks I am making a mountain out of a mole hill. But .. this is just very weird to me and I can not shake that gut feeling that something is off. Regardless, I don't like this one bit and want to put an end to this.Thing is, she has done nothing illegal .. so I'm in a bit of a weird spot in that I'm not quite sure how to approach this.Does anyone have suggestions as to how to speak with my neighbor and stop this behavior?
