Feeling guilty about hiring a nanny for one child

I work full-time Monday to Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm and my husband works out of town over 50% of the time. His work schedule will not be changing anytime in the near future. Currently, our daughter (who is almost 3) goes to a dayhome. Increasingly I am finding it difficult to manage the drop offs, pick ups, cooking, cleaning, appointments, etc when I'm solo. I would like to hire a nanny, but my husband is not in agreement at all. He thinks I should be able to manage everything with no problem and is upset when he comes home and the house is not in order. I have so little time during the week to get much accomplished and I would rather spend my free time hanging out with our daughter instead of cooking and cleaning. If I did hire a nanny, he has made it clear that I would be paying her from my own salary and not from our joint account. I just feel like his expectations of me are unrealistic. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2RdX8ik
