My daughter is 5 years old and I absolutely adore her. She is incredibly empathetic and delicate. With that comes lots of emotions. She has always been what some may call a “cry baby”. Small bumps, scratches, and falling down can really set her off. She shrieks incredibley loud for long amounts of time. I would have thought that by 5 she would have learned how to “shake it off” but any type of hurt can end up with huge tantrums and crying. One of the things I struggle with the most is feeling empathy for her because it happens so often. Do I give in to the crying? Give her reassurance? Or do ignore it? Thank you for any advice! via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2P22ITh
