My [36F] youngest child [3M] walked in on me and my husband last night. He thinks his father was hurting me

My youngest child walked in one me and my husband last night because he had a nightmare. He wanted to sleep in our bed and he thought my husband was hurting me. He threw his Iron Man teddy at my husband. That's how we knew he was there. He ran to his room and came back with his hulk teddy and threw that at my husband. By this time I had my gown on and I asked what was wrong.He had a nightmare and wanted to sleep with me. I told him dad was not hurting me but he's convinced.
