Gave my sister in law's kids vodka - update

I wasn't expecting to get so many comments but thank you to everyone who reassured me that my SIL was the one out of line. Since some people were asking for an update I thought I'd make a separate post instead of making a comment that would just get lost.My sister in law's husband calmed her down a bit, she stopped freaking out and texting my husband that he should "keep an eye on me" because this "could be a sign of alcoholism" since "putting liquor in pasta sauce seems like trying to get a fix without anyone noticing". Sigh. I've talked to my other sister in law and apparently this is just how she is and the family deals with it. She's only recently moved here so I wasn't aware how crazy she could be. She didn't apologize but she said she won't be calling CPS unless things get out of hand. Whatever that means. Either way this is appearing to blow over thankfully.
