My husband just got a new job and now I'm a stay at home mom! Awesome! Except my son is soooo over the same old toys, going out for walks, etc...Over the past weekend I bought him a wooden train set. My attempt at "out with the old in with the new". He was excited, said it was cool, played with it maybe twice and that was that.I've just accepted that as of right now, he's just not that type of kid and really just enjoys running around and being outside. We've got a big fenced in yard but not many "outside" toys. He loves going to the parks on the weekends but our yard isn't "as fun".I've never been around children until I had my own so I do find it difficult to spice it up when it's just the two of us at home. I'm just trying to come up with new fun things / activities indoor or outdoor we can do while we're at the house as we only have one car.
