"I saw another mom at daycare putting her 6/9 month old in a FF car seat, would you speak up?"

It's a Facebook post from today.Following 30+ women advising the original poster to go over and tell this mother it's illegal/dangerous, telling on the mother using the daycare provider, calling the police on the mother because she's clearly endangering her child, etc etc.Is it just me who thinks people should mind their own business? It's the USA, here you leave the hospital after giving birth with a freaking list that tells you 1000+ deadly mistakes you're probably making with your baby.Of course this mother knows, maybe there's a reason for it. Maybe her kid doesn't cry at all if he gets to see momma driving, maybe the kid is too tall and his legs are all curled up, maybe he's more than +20 lbs.Whatever the reason is. Why do you care?In MA the law says you can put your kid in a front facing car seat if he/she is one year old and/or more than 20 lbs. so it's not illegal. Rear facing is recommended, of course, since it's safer. It makes me wanna send this women to any Latin American country, India or any other country that's not the USA. They'd be in for a big surprise if they actually saw how the rest of the world lives, they'd probably die of a heart attack."Oh my god, she's feeding her baby soda!" "Jesus, is that a deadly poisonous bumper in the crib!?" "No way! Is she feeding her newborn powdered formula? Doesn't she know it's not recommended by the Holy Pediatrics Guidelines on how to raise a perfectly happy baby in the safest way that ready-to-feed formula is now in and powder formula is not safe anymore?!" "Christ, the baby has been crying for 3 seconds, doesn't she know that high levels of cortisol can permanently damage you kids brain!?" "The kid must be 11 months and 29 days and she's giving her honey!?"I just like minding my own business. Parenting is really stressful already. Why wouldn't you leave this mother alone?Freaking sanctimommies really get on my nerves. They're everywhere. Rant over. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2lkEiWQ
