So the other day I made some buckwheat with tomatoes, bread and fresh spinach for dinner. The last time my lil lady had buckwheat was 4 months ago, so practically speaking, it was a new food for her. I put some in a bowl and encouraged her to try it. She wasn't too interested in it and requested some meat instead. I complied. As she was eating her meat, I went ahead and took a bite of her food, and start praising it, how good and delicious it was. I took a bit of spinach with a spoonful of buckwheat and a piece of bread. I did this a couple of times before she decided she was ready enough to try it. She followed my lead in every way, first a bite of spinach then a spoonful of buckwheat then a bite of bread. I think she just didn't know how to eat /what to do with that new food I put in front of her. That's probably pretty intuitive, duh, but it took me a second to figure it out, so I thought I'll share the tip. Bone appetite, everyone! via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2dHSJmE
