My child got whooping cough, I'm not sure from whom, but the doctor is pretty sure she's got it. Let me tell you, this is the worst. She coughed for a few days with her dad and came home and seemed to get better with her allergy meds (that he refuses to give her), but it never really left. Then last night she started coughing so hard she couldn't breathe and her lips turned purple, twice. When I told her dad he said she should just get some cough suppressant and send her to school. And more than that, he took her to see his friends new baby last weekend, when she was first sick. I am so upset for her, and for that baby, and I don't really know what to do. It hurts my heart to hear her cough so badly and it just seems to be getting worse.Sorry this is jumbled, I just needed to vent somewhere.EDIT: If it wasn't clear, I am not with her father and had no control over what happens at his house. I wouldn't have taken her and I'm pretty appalled he did. I also did not give her any medication except her allergy meds which are prescribed by her allergist and took her to the doctor as soon as it got bad. I'm doing everything I can to get in touch with the babies parents as I don't know them. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2esvFGR
