I've heard a few times that boys take longer then girls typically and that it's easier for girls to just get it. With my son, my wife & I have been consistently praising him when he did go in the toilet with a gummy bear, the potty dance, & most importantly come to find out was find something to hold their interest while they are on the toilet. At first we would sit him there and he'd tell us he didn't have to go so he'd get off then poop his pants shortly after. So we tried books, he loves books. So we got a basket that sits there so he can go through however many he wants till he's done. The tablet also has worked but for many reasons the preferred way is with the their books.I couldn't be more proud of my wife because I'm at work all throughout the day and don't help with him as much as I'd like too or be able too.
