School registration added bmi and weight

I am more neutral about this because I don't see what the harm could be by having to submit my child's height and weight, bmi, and percentiles.But I really don't see how it is the school systems business...She has a pediatrician. She is not over weight at all.Her doctor had to sign off that her weight is being monitored because she is in the 94th percentile for height and 90th in weight. She is 7 in September. 4ft 3 and 59.75 lbs. Bmi is 16% so it's 100% normal and healthy. She is just really tall and skinny. She is in no way super skinny though. But not even the slightest but chubby. No pudgy belly, nothing. So I don't like that her school has it in her file that her weight should be monitored...Absolutely nothing can be done except complain to the school board.Is this typical in other states.
