Need creative writing/drawing activities for kids.

Well, I'm not a parent but I figured this was a good place to ask.I teach English to a young boy as a second language. I've been trying to think of new ideas and he really likes robots, so I asked him to invent a robot and to draw it for me. It ended up working out great because I could ask him what everything was and how it worked. What the robot did, why he made it the way he did, etc.He really seemed to enjoy that. So, I'd like to do something else similar to that. He's a 7 year old boy and has the level of English that I might expect from a native speaker around his age.Any ideas?
