Let's say I'm letting my kids (age 11 and 13) go stay for a few days with someone who is well-intentioned, but has questionable judgement. What do I need to tell them that is obvious to us, but may not be to them? Here's a start (with edits as they come in):They need to be in bed with the lights out by x o'clock. No books or electronics after that time.Don't leave them alone in a place or with people they are unfamiliar with.Don't leave them alone overnight. If you're going to leave them for longer than an hour, let them know when you'll be back and how to get ahold of you while you're gone.Brush teeth twice a day.Shower at least every other day.Kids must wear seatbelts when in a moving vehicle.Kids must have adult supervision at all times while at swimming pools or beaches. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2aiQqV8
