How to confront a family member that's possibly "grooming" our child?

Created new username for privacy of everyone involvedConcern has been there for years but today was the final obvious straw to confirm this behaviorMan aged 45-65Married into familyAlmost every chance he gets, 'takes off' with our 1-5 year old childWaits until both parents and other family members are preoccupiedVanishes with kid, almost always taking child to isolated place, at a minimum away from other family members.I always rush after as soon as I realize it's happening. It's so calculated and 'random' it happens the second we relax and let our guard down. He waits for that. We realize that now.Sometimes it will be in the same place as everyone else just on the other side of an object, door, wall, windows.Always attempts to whisper into child's ear.Person goes out of their way to be beloved by everyone, an accusation will cause problems. Almost definitely will cause us to be separated from family.Ideal proposed situation would be a restraining order and they can never, ever be in the same place at the same time. This is a very messy and ugly option but effective in theory. Anyone have experience with that option?Simply calling the police is an option yet nothing else to go on other than the extremely unwanted behavior.
