PSA to parents with young children

A lot of my friends are having their first child and that's so exciting! Having children is incredible, and parents would do anything to protect their children, but there are some dangers in even your own household that many new parents forget. Furniture can be deadly to children. Children who are not being watched closely can climb into and on top of furniture that is not fixed to a wall. Between 2000 and 2018, there were 459 reported tip-over-related deaths involving children 17 years old and younger. Ninety-three percent of those child-specific incidents involved children five years old and younger.Please remember to attach large pieces of furniture to walls and baby proof drawers. Mount your TV on the wall instead of on a stand.
