Travelling with a baby sucks (rant)

My husband and I didn’t have kids until 7 years in our marriage. I live for travelling and we travelled often and regularly. It was actually a major reason I kept delaying having kids because I thought a kid would kill it. But our friends had kids and would travel with them and I was like ok cool - after all our parents travelled with us! We took our first trip out to dc to visit my husband’s brother and his family. My In-laws have also been here and an excellent source of baby sitting. But I can’t help think I’m not doing this again. All the stuff they need. She’s been teething and fussy. While she’s sleeping ok at night she won’t nap. I’m on edge bc my ppd seems to be flaring up again. We come to dc often but now I feel we can’t do the city the way we have because of her. She’s only 6 months and according to some it just gets worse until a certain age when they can watch tv etc. so I guess we won’t be travelling for awhile. I guess one pro is we will save money?? Anyway don’t know if anyone else felt similarly or if anyone has any advice/optimism but it would be appreciated! via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2MsJjfw
