
Strong feelings are a trigger for me. I grew up with a depressed mom, where if I made a misstep things were just grey for days. I have 3 girls now, 15, 10 and 9. Obviously they are growing up and it’s a somewhat turbulent time emotionally. But when one gets depressed or upset I feel it so deeply that I have trouble functioning. I’m so terrified that one will just get stuck there.If anyone has a similar issue, how do you separate a bit? I know it’s not productive at all to just be dragged along on my kids emotional journeys, and I want to be the type of parent that lets kids have their feelings without being overwrought about them. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2P73a4B
