So, I’m almost 6 months pregnant with my second baby, and recently found out we’re having a boy! I kind of already knew because I’m carrying and feeling completely different this pregnancy to how I was with his sister. I’m much bigger this time and have been noticeably pregnant for months now. Now, my firstborn is 19 months old. She’s lovely, a very perceptive and caring little girl. She’s doesn’t say much yet, but she does have a few things she understands and likes to say quite often. Most recently, she’s taken to sitting on my lap, stroking, nuzzling and kissing my baby bump, and saying ‘mummy baby’ over and over again. It’s incredibly cute and makes me melt every time.A few days ago, she was sat on her dads lap while watching telly. She turned around to face him, put both her hands on his stomach, and whispered ‘daddy baby’ to him with a huge smile on her face.I felt absolutely awful for him, it was hilarious, but he is pretty sensitive about his weight at the moment. He gains what I like to call ‘sympathy weight’ when I’m pregnant (usually about 14 pounds, so pretty much bang on what I gain from being pregnant). He’s been coming back home recently and getting embarrassed that his trousers don’t fit him anymore. I always be a good wife and try to comfort him by telling him it’s fine and that he’ll lose it just like last time when the baby comes, and that it really isn’t noticeable, but I don’t think I can keep this up anymore when his own daughter now thinks she’s getting 2 siblings next year and not just a mummy baby! via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/34m6qyW
