Parents - my child wants a coding robot, do you have one and would you recommend it?

My daughter is 9, she's asked Santa for a robot.Santa is thinking that this is an excellent opportunity to get her into coding and/or electronics!Budget - it's quite flexible, willing to pay more for the most amazing robot, but equally happy to get her something that's a bargainKnowledge - my daughter is quite clever, my husband has a degree in electronics so it doesn't need to be too basic and simple - however, please only recommend something that she will be able to play with and code (if it's too complicated my husband will end up stealing her present and playing with it)Other - she has a 6 year old brother, so anything too fragile tends to break in our house.Thank you. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2Xzo5B4
