My daughter had a seizure at daycare

My 3yo daughter’s daycare called me yesterday around 3 letting me know that she had a fever of 101.5 and needed to be picked up. I couldn’t leave work for almost an hour and a half. When I walked into the door she was laid out on the floor having a seizure! It was one of the scariest moments in my life. She seems fine now, but she still has a fever and I’m keeping her super close. I’m also keeping her medicated swapping between Tylenol and Motrin every 4 hours. All she wants is water right now which is better than nothing, and her spirits are high. The seizure was caused by her fever shooting up so quickly. And apparently is more common in toddlers and something they grow out of by 5 or 6! It’s still terrifying either way. I’m not looking for any advice, just needed a placed among other parents to release some of my stress. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2KcE42M
