Hi Reddit, I’m a dad (46) of my lovely 8 year old son and I don’t know how much say I should have in his friends group.When I visited one of his new friend’s parents house to drop him off for his first ‘play date’ I just didn’t like them one bit. They came across as bigoted. Anyway the next time I went over the dad whipped the dog with a belt buckle when it misbehaved (and looked like it hurt) which cements in my mind that they’re disgusting people.I just don’t know whether it’s wrong to interject and cut off a friendship of my own child, they’re not a good example.TDLR: My kid’s friend’s parents are horrid people and I saw them whip their dog, should I never bring my son over there again? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2KzlK3S
