I know I may get a lot of backlash for this, but I need to get it out. This morning my 6 year old kicked her brother because he didn’t want to play with her, so I told her to go to timeout. She didn’t listen, so I grabbed her to bring her there. She was yelling and trying to hit me the whole way, (I was feeling pretty done at this point), and when we got to timeout she stood up and headbutt me, hard. I lost it and grabbed her by the hair to sit her back down in timeout. Then I went to my room and closed the door, while the guilt immediately set it.When my daughter came out of timeout we had a talk, and I said I was sorry for grabbing her hair. She’s over it now and is playing happily, but I can’t stop thinking about it. Parenting tests me to my absolute limits some days.. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3280sAu
