Before you all jumping on my throats for this, my kid does not eat candy. It's simple as that. I usually make homemade jellos or ice-cream/smoothies for my kid with sweet fruits and a little bit of honey. That's about it.(I also don't eat sugary things because my psoriasis would flare up so I try to live without them.)Therefore, birthday parties are a nervous thing for me.My kid has a certain diet and I never want to be the fussy Karen at anyone's important day. I usually tell the parents I'm bringing food or fruits for my kid instead.HOWEVER, TODAY WAS GREAT.Shout out to the birthday boy's parents for being so considerate with everything!Every kid had something to pick and choose. They didn't like chicken? They ate beef. They didn't like fish? There also was some other foods. All homemade foods. It was amazing food too. There were fruits and cake. Children don't eat cake? Fruits salad! No fruits? There's cake!I know most of you are probably thinking, "Heck, isn't this normal at parties?"Apparently not here at where I live. Many birthday parties we attended had a bunch of candy and no food that weren't processed or weren't full of mayonnaise.I was so happy. I'm still so happy. I'm so grateful. That's all. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2C7GJGi
