I thought I had seen it all...

This just all went down. Started 3 hours ago. It was 1130 pm, we heard our almost 2yr old toddler whimpering at the top of the stairs by the baby gate.Husband went upstairs, yelled for me.I came up, and see my toddler covered in foul vomit. Not the lame usual liquid vomit, this is like cream cheese consistency with bits of chicken in it. It's in his hair, it's on the ground, it's on the walls. I follow the trail of destruction to his bedroom, and found it caked everywhere. The bed, covers, blanket, ground. I do the dirty job of trying to clean it up while trying not to retch from the smell.Husband puts him in a bath. All good.As husband was drying him off in a towel, toddler threw up all over my husband. Now husband and toddler, both dripping with vomit, goes downstairs for a shower. I follow around like the cleaning robot from Wall-E.We all shower, things are in trash bags/laundry. We relax and watch some TV together with the toddler in our arms.Husband says he'll cuddle with the toddler so I step into the bedroom and lie down. The moment my head hits the pillow, I hear the toddler retch. It's on the couch, the blanket, pillows, my husband.Rinse and repeat. It's 2am. The night is still young. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2XliHBm
