Since birth my son has only slept for around 10 hours per day with lots of night wakes and I’m wondering whether this can really be enough and whether there’s anything I can do to improve his sleep. He usually gets 2 to 3 hours during the day made up of 30 minute naps. At night he usually sleeps 7 to 8 hours but wakes up 5 to 15 times. At best he’ll sleep for 3 hours in one go, but usually sleeps for 1 or 2 hours and sometimes only 10 or 30 minutes. He usually needs to be breastfed back to sleep. We’ve tried making the bedroom darker/lighter, different types of white noise, different types of bed (moses basket, bedside crib with drop down side, cot, co-sleeping), and different bed times. Nothing seems to help. He sleeps in a sleeping bag that’s the right warmth for the room temperature. Our doctor doesn’t think he has reflux or any other medical issues that would affect his sleep.Any ideas on how we can improve his sleep? Anyone else have a baby who sleeps this little? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/34kFMq8
