Is it appropriate to have my wife's (44F) friend buy tickets to an Ariana Grande concert for my 10yr old twin girls without my (48M) consent?

I (47M) got a message from my 10yr old girl saying she is going to an Ariana Grande concert and she is so happy!I was like where did you get them? It turns out that my wife's (44F) friend gave the tickets to them at her kids birthday party. It also turns out that my wife didn't bother to consult me..... she said it was last minute decision late last night (surprise!).Is it appropriate for my wife to not consent me about if it is a good idea to take a gift of this sort and go to a concert like this for 10 yr old girls or am I overreacting?
