Doctor refusing to believe there is something different about 4 year old

So my family doctor is refusing to believe me that there is something different about my 4 year old son. Since my son was 2 I've been asking for a referral for a pediatrician (we are canadian so we needed a referral) and the doctor continually told me "there is nothing wrong with him". Finally last time we went in the doctor had a medical student and the medical student agreed with me and we've got an appointment with the pediatrician on Tuesday. I'm just worried that my family doctor will have said something on the consult sheet that makes my concerns seem not legitimate. I guess I'm just venting but hopefully someone will have some advise on how they've dealt with difficult doctors.Background on my son; the best way to describe him is extremely disagreeable. When he is happy then he is the most loving and affectionate guy, but with that being said when he hugs or kisses he will usually hurt the other person by being too rough. When he hugs he will bang his head into the person repeatedly, any physical touch from him is too rough. He also will use both hands and repeatedly slap his ears (happy, sad, angry, over stimulated). He is very controlling during playtime and gets upset if things aren't exactly how he wanted them to be (playing with superhero figures with his siblings they can only be the certain character he wants them to be). He is 4 and is stubborn to the point where he's on a laxitive regime from the hospital because he refuses to poop. So potty training is non existent, if you even mention the toilet he has a meltdown, screams top of his lungs and bawls like he's dying. Even though we've always tried to teach him his numbers, colours and ABC's he still cannot identify any of them. He also calls our cats by the wrong names (they don't look alike either). He doesn't like to deviate from routine (such as taking a different route home from the store) and is very particular (all the cupboard doors have to be closed or he cries). But on the other hand he talks in full sentences, is unbelievably articulate, he is very empathetic and has an incredible imagination. He is sweet and caring. The best comparison is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, when he is happy he is amazing but as soon as his mood changes it's hell. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/339N3cM
