So, I want to preface this by saying I am not trying to start a discussion or debate about vaccinations...I have 19 month old twins, up to date on vaccinations, which is important to me. My bff has a 5yo daughter & a 2yo son. Her daughter has been to my house numerous times, but I haven’t allowed her to bring her son as his father has decided not to have him vaccinated, despite the fact that his daughter is? Anyway, my twins are at daycare today, so I told her to bring over both of her kids to hang out & play since their daycare is closed. Obviously I’m not concerned about her son coming over today since my twins aren’t here...but do I really need to keep him from playing with them completely? It really bums me out that they don’t all get to play & interact, but my priority is my kids safety. (Let me add, her son doesn’t stay with her often, so when she brings her daughter over, her son is with his Dad, I’m not telling her to leave her kid at home because he’s not welcome here or anything lol although she does know as of now why he can’t be around my twins). I’d like to hear other parents experiences or opinions about this? I don’t know if I sound like a complete nut job or if I’m justified & totally rational about the situation? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2xu2YUE
