We go climbing in a gym every sat and I'm going to sign him up for a club come August so I can climb when he is in his club. Yesterday he tied himself in for the first time 100% unassisted (I checked his knot of course) AND HE WANTED TO CLIMB THE BIG WALL! He climbed a 5.9 for his first time doing the "big wall" (maybe 75 feet up?) And while i know thats not a huge accomplishment for many, it is for my boy, because he doesn't want to be belayed down until about the last 20 ft. He tries to climb back down, but this time he didnt!!I'm so proud of my boy. He has such a natural technique and I can see his confidence bloom while he climbs. 10/10 i would reccomend taking your kids climbing. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2YIjnAQ
