I have a son turning 2 next month and a 10 month old daughter. Until 2 weeks ago my wife was the stay at home, but the roles reversed when she left for the army. And yes, being a full-time dad has been the most stressful job I've ever had. At first I went with pretty strict meal, activity and bedtimes, but it seemed more like a job than bonding with my children. So the last few days I've been going with the flow and letting things get postponed if the babies seemed content with whatever we were doing. This inevitably has led to bedtime (usually 6pm) moving to 7-8pm. Babies are considerate enough to sleep and additional hour or so as well. My kids appear happier with the relaxed schedule! Experienced parents: is this okay or will it lead to problems down the road? I don't aim to be the cool parent, but I do want to have the best time with the kids...while still being responsible. Am I just overthinking? Help lol. Edit: a word. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2XrdlmF
