Part funny post, part dear lord, someone help me.I’m trying not to laugh at my kid because I know it’s dangerous and I’m also frustrated I can’t get him to stop. It’s an intermittent problem and happens every few months. This morning I roll over to see he’s disconnected my phone and is actively chewing on the end of the cord. I got super upset with him since he’s now four years old and has done this randomly since he was two. After telling him how dangerous it is and that iPhone cords are NOT food, I ask him why he chews on it. And you know what this kid says?“But mom, it’s spicy.”Cue me being both horrified and trying not to burst out laughing. Freaking kid thinks an electric cord is SPICY! I think it shocked a few IQ points out of him. 🤦🏻♀️Any advice on getting him to stop would be welcome. It’s like he listens and then forgets every 3-4 months. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2JgueLZ
