I am in a bit of a predicament, I am currently in a relationship with a 28 year old male who has 3 year old son who is turning 4 this month. My partner and his ex have planned a joint party for him and invited all of his nursery friends, family etc. I am unsure whether I would like to go to this party as I have never spoken to the mother and the only form of communication we have had is when she is ranting via text message. The son has asked me to go in passing comment but I really do not feel comfortable going.
