10 year old boy told another kid to kill himself on a game HELP

I told his dad, who IMMEDIATELY turned off the internet from work, but I'm still concerned. When I heard him say it, I'm not proud of running in and yelling at him to never ever say that (edit: not proud of the yelling, ok with telling him never to say it). One of my best friends has a lot of issues and frequently teeters into suicidal thoughts, so it's already a touchy subject for me. Hearing him tell that to another kid really set me off.How do you talk to a 10-year-old about this? I know it's going to have to start with an apology for yelling or he probably won't listen at all, but damn.
