My youngest is 2, and he's giving us a run for our money. Today was ESPECIALLY two. Cranky, argumentative, willful little contrarian.Cut to this morning after a sleepover with grandma. He asked to cuddle this huge knitted blanket on the way home, and proceeded to get Super-Pissed at me because it was too big. Then the color was wrong:2yo: "No, I want the DARK blue one"Me: "This IS the dark blue one. It's the only one we have with us"2yo: "No, this is light. I want the DARK blue one"Me: (holding this giant knitted blanket up showing him it's a dark blue that fades to lighter blue) "See, it's all one blanket with different colors"2yo: "No, it wasn't like dat, WHO did DAT?!"Me: "Your grandma knitted it like that, it's always been this color"2yo: "No, grandma DIDN'T make it like DAT. Who put thum together like dat?!!"Me: (oooomg - explaining again) "this is the same blanket you had yesterday.2yo: "No it's not. YOU did dis!!"
