What's something you are strict with your kids about that other parents aren't?Also, what's something you don't see as a big deal as others seem to, therefore more relaxed about?Kids are 3 and 5.For mine, my wife and I are quite strict on finishing what they have in their mouth before they take a drink. Backwash and lumps of food in drink is disgusting. If they need to take a drink to wash something down, then they have put too much in their mouth. The exception is if they are choking on something and need water to get it down (Which has never happened, thankfully). One thing we aren't strict on is clothing choice around the house. They have freedom of choice of what they wear as long as they are fine with dressing properly when we go out. Want to wear mis matched clothing? Fine. Want to spend the day in PJs? Ok as well. (I've seen my brother literally drag his kids screaming to get them changed, when they aren't doing anything or going anywhere, or having visitors. To me, it's just an unnecessary battle). via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2Eb5zpx
