Son [10] getting left out of playdates with friends

It’s been months since my son has been invited on a playdate. I figured everyone was just busy with the new school year and activities. Turns out, the other kids are still having playdates together. My son teared up today talking about it. He’s really hurt and doesn’t know what happened. At school they all still hang out together.I’ve noticed my son can be a little rude to his friends. He tends to come across as boastful, and he’ll relentlessly argue if something is unfair or if someone is incorrect about something. I’ve begged him to just let these things go and try to be more agreeable with people.Other than that, what can I do to help him? I’ve thought about asking the other moms about it, or inviting the kids for a playdate even though they haven’t been reciprocated lately, but I don’t want to force anything if they no longer want to be friends. Any advice? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2qQuPv6
