My sweet boy

I have a 5 year old step son who is like my own and a 10 week old daughter. My baby hardly ever cries but tonight she was nonstop for half an hour. My husband was asleep already because he works very early. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her and it was just breaking my heart. My son was playing around asking if we could play uno or watch our movie yet and I was so upset about the baby crying that I started crying. My son asked why I was crying a couple times a and I snapped back a bit with “what do you mean why am I crying?” And pointed at his sister. He immediately stopped what he was doing and came to sing to his sister and try to offer her a small teddy bear. She stopped crying for a few minutes and I thanked him, I almost kept crying because of how sweet he was being coming to our rescue the way he did. She started crying again and I started crying again and he just sat there and hugged me with one arm and patted his sister with his other arm and kept singing to her. When she finally stopped crying, I stopped crying. I thanked him very sincerely and he smiled at me and told me I was beautiful.I love him so much. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2ThWJx1
