DH, DS, Cold and Pants

I just need somewhere to rant so feel free to ignore.We live in a warm southern state, where it’s usually in the 90s and humid.This week we had a cold front, and temps dropped before 32 one night so we had to cover our pipes. Right now it’s 40 something degrees (yes, I know that’s not really cold to a Northerner but it is to a Southerner).DH surprised me this morning by telling me we had to be at church in 30 minutes, so I made a mad rush to the shower to get ready. Our kids, 5 and 7, are at the stage where they dress themselves.I come out in the living room and see 5 yo in a short sleeve shirt and shorts - not weather appropriate IMO. I look at DH and ask if he’s ok’d this outfit (we have an agreement not to counter each other’s parenting in front of the kids) and he says “Yes.”Ugh!I know 5yo will not freeze to death but things like this drive me crazy. In all fairness to DH, he did make 5 yo put on a sweatshirt after he realized I was unhappy with the wardrobe selection.Anyways, thanks for reading my vent if you got this far.
