conflicted with 5 year old

Hi! I’m not sure if this is the right place or if I should head over to r/relationships.... but I have currently been dating someone for a little over a year and a half - I introduced him to my daughter a little over a year ago. They have a really great relationship and fantastic bond. She is his biggest fan. However, recently, I am now a fan of him at all and have really only been staying with him because my daughter is so attached. I know this is wrong. I am not at a point where I can not take it any more. The thing I need help with is helping my daughter adjust to the sudden change. How to go about telling her. We will also lose a dog in this separation that she calls her “sissy”. So she will lose the most frequent and constant male figure along with our dog. She also just started kindergarten and I am so afraid of what all this change at once could do.Any advice or tips that you have for me would be greatly appreciated!Thank you so much.Again I apologize if this isn’t the place!
