17 month old has been given an inhaler, any advice to get him to actually take it?

Hi everyone.My son has been suffering really bad with a chest infection over the last 2 weeks. Hasn’t responded to his antibiotics very well, spiking fever... spent last night in A&E where he had back to back Nebs, steroids and given an inhaler. Now in A&E he was really poorly and allowed me to do it, but today he’s having none of it. We have been given a spacer to help.Here’s the embarrassing thing... I’m a nurse. I just don’t have a clue how to get him to have this damn thing besides putting him in a headlock! Husband is away with work, so it’s just me on my own.
