13yo sleepover.... Never again

My daughter had been asking for a sleepover with all of her friends for years. She's had a girl or two over before but nothing too major. She's turning 13 and I decided sure why not..I regret this shit. 7 girls plus my daughter and my younger kids. 2 girls weren't allowed to stay the night and it's a pity because they seemed to be the better behaving ones this day. The younger kids were great! The older girls are loud, hardheaded and fast.I tried my best to stay out of that part of the house and let my daughter enjoy the day and not embarass her by hovering. They were constantly running and rough housing. Oh, that's what kids do? Two of her friends this year got into a fight at school and were suspended but it all started off as "play fighting". I don't play that crap and no those girls weren't here. Repeatedly I had to come ask them to stop running, horse playing and slamming doors.I didn't mind the loud talking and laughing. I welcomed that even into the night. Have fun girls. Clean fun ya know? Well, until I could clearly hear them talking about sex all the way upstairs, more running and even a dogpile I had to break up... 13yos so no that can't fly. I didn't say anything to the girls but pulled my daughter to the side and explained that we could clearly hear them and they should calm down.I finally picked a movie for them instead of the scary movies they picked to watch and run to. I got 2 hours of peace. I managed to stay away and even drift off after that.At nearly 4am I hear them talking on speakerphone to a boy who's saying something about the "white girl" in the background. I guess video chatting. I go down and my daughter is the only one sleeping and the other girls are in the room with the door closed chatting with the boy. But still, I just wake my daughter and quietly tell her that the girls are right under my bedroom and I can hear them so they hang up. After a few min I just call it a night and tell them it's bedtime. I didn't want to have to do that. Kinda pointless because they were lounging on their phones. I can still hear them up anyway but the loudtalking and speakerphone boy are done for the night I hope. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2tROrOE
